VEHICLE STICKERS- pick up at DPW office
- Proof of LOWER TOWNSHIP RESIDENCY is required.
- Limit One (1) sticker per household. Lost stickers will not be replaced.
- Stickers must be affixed to vehicle, if not, proof of residency must be provided.
ACCEPTABLE ITEMS for the Lower Township Recycling Center
HOUSEHOLD TRASH is refrigerator garbage, Styrofoam, Shredded paper, etc.
HOUSEHOLD RECYCLES: Plastics, aluminum cans, glass, cardboard, papers.
HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES: Refrigerator, air conditioner, emptied lawnmowers, BBQ grills, metal vacuum cleaners, metal poles (without concrete), etc.
BRANCHES: Seven (7) feet in length & six (6) inches in diameter or less.
LEAVES: Garden debris, grass clippings.
RECHARGABLE BATTERIES: Drop off inside Lower Township Recycling Center office during business hours. Single use batteries can be placed in trash.
NON-ACCEPTABLE ITEMS for Lower Township Recycling Center.
BULK ITEMS: Furniture, mattress/box spring, picnic tables, etc.
HAZARDOUS WASTE: Paint, Gas, Kerosene, Anti-freeze, etc.

BUILDING MATERIAL: Shingles, lumber, sheetrock, paneling, wood, pallets, windows, doors, garage doors, toilets, etc.
RAILROAD TIES AND LANDSCAPING TIES
CONCRETE: Bricks and cinderblocks.

Grass and Garden clippings will be picked up day after your trash day from May 1st to September 30th.
Place clippings loose in a can free of trash and branches, no plastic trash bags.
